What's up fam! We were given a little time to write home and let you all know that I have made it here to Brazil safely! Things have gone good thus far and I'm here! It's definitely crazy! After 1 day full of travels, I am wiped out! But as for my news, my new companion is Elder Assis and he's a native Brazilian. He's from the Amazon Jungle part of Brazil. I couldn't understand which city it was! He speaks a little bit of English but mainly portuguese and I am lost, that is for sure! haha! The city of Sao Paolo is crazy big! There are so many people and buildings everywhere. It's nuts! We ate lunch at President Pinho's house and he seems like a way awesome guy! He's super funny already. He told us that our mission is like 90 percent "favelas" (portuguese for "the ghettos"!!) Wow, super pumped about that haha! This is going to be sweet! I just have to learn the language now! Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I made it and am here in Sao Paolo! Definitely the biggest city I've ever seen! It's crazy! And the drivers are absolutely insane! Well I'll fill you in on the rest of the week on my pday. Hope all is going well with everybody there.
