Expiação e Obra Missionária

So I'll start off this week by talking about how good this week was! Things are really starting to pick up down here! Yesterday we had 3 baptisms! I don't know if I told you but we have been teaching two Nigerian guys who speak very little portuguese, but they DO speak english, and yesterday they were baptized! I got to baptize one of them! His name is Mak and he is so sick! Who would have ever thought that I would come all the way to Brazil and my first baptism would be in english! Way cool! Both guys were so excited.  It was amazing to see! We also baptized a lady we had been teaching. So yesterday we got to the church because the baptism was supposed to be before church started, but when we got there, they hadn't even begun to fill the font up! Major bummer. We hurried, though, and tried to fill it up as fast as possible with huge trash buckets that we filled up with water and then brought to the font! It was super funny but we filled it up dang fast! We had it all ready but then the service was postponed because they said we didn't have time.  Wow. All that work for nothing! Not to worry, we had the baptismal service after church instead and it was just as good! The water was way cold though and the older lady i think got hypothermia she was so cold! Maybe a little over reacting! It was funny but she did have the biggest smile ever on her face afterwards! You could totally SEE how happy she was even though she was shivering like crazy!

The weather down here is way weird! It changes every other day. We will have a day that's super hot and then the next day is cold and foggy! Super strange! And thus far it hasn't rained too hard during the day.  It sure comes down super hard at night, though!

As for some of the questions you asked:  I am still liking my comp.  He is way smart! He literally knows every scripture reference off the top of his head and he's super good at teaching with the spirit. He speaks very clear portuguese, as well, so it's easy for me to understand! I'm not sure how long I will be with him! Transfers are in two weeks and they say any one of us could be transferred, so who knows!

The fruit down here is so good! There are so many different fruits that I have never even heard of! In our area, there is a street market that sets up every Saturday morning with fresh fruits and it's way good! I look forward to Saturday mornings, that's for sure!

I can't believe you sold Darrel without even asking for my permission!! haha! My vote for the new name would have to be Adrian. It defs looks like an Adrian!! Is that my car when I get back? Sweet! I cant wait!

Thanks for all the support i know that this is the true church and I am already seeing lives change! Claudinei is doing so awesome! He's already given us some references of people that he wants to share the gospel with, one of which is his cousin who we challenged for baptism here in a few weeks!

I love you all so much!
