Oi! from Nick!

I'll start off as usual with the birthday shoutouts to Anthony Winters and Charlie Lewis today! Hope you both have great days! There's an elder in my mission that I met the other day that's really good friends with Charlie apparently. Elder Crosland is his name. He's way cool! Charlie should know him! But any who, hope you two have the best of the best!!

I still don't know a ton about when I will call. Elder Cole said we can call whenever we want so I guess you guys can choose!

So this week was definitely the craziest week on the mission yet! We worked so hard it was crazy! We just went crazy like talking to literally everyone in the streets and running everywhere so we could teach everyone! Man today my body is literally dead! haha. I'm going to go back to the house and just relax and recover! I never thought on a mission I'd be waking up at 5:30 so I could get ready and go wake up all our investigators! We expanded our teaching pool by a ton this week as well. Things are just getting crazy!

So Saturday we had a way cool experience at our baptism! We had a baptism of this kid named Junior who is 12 years old. The rule now is that we can't baptize kids under 16 unless they go to church for 3 months or unless they have someone who is responsible for them like a parent or someone that's a member. So Junior's grandma is a member so were able to baptize him! He's such a stud though!  His mom wants him to serve a mission and everything which is way sweet! We started teaching the mom as well because she was never baptized. She's never felt like she needed to be baptized in the moment, but we helped her this week realize that baptism is important and that she needs it in her life! She was still super nervous though and said she would get baptized when her 7 year old turns 8 next September. But after the baptism, she talked to us and said she doesn't want to wait and that now is the perfect time! She obviously felt the spirt so strongly testify to her at the baptism and now she is so ready! So we're working with her now to be baptized here soon! Miracles are happening every day. It's crazy!

I don't have a ton of time to write today but this week was way awesome. Not too much happened! Talked with a ton of people and taught a bundle of lessons! Getting excited to talk to you all here in a little bit! Can't wait! Keep looking for opportunities to serve others every day! You'll never regret a time when you serve someone else!! Keep the spirt of Christmas always!

Love you all!

Elder Holmes
