Things Are Still Way Awesome!

Start out by giving some birthday shoutouts to Aunt Marisa on 11th, Aunt Susan on  13th (wish you the best of luck on that friday the 13!!) and  Miguel on the 14th!  Hope you all have awesome days and know that I miss you tons!

Man mom and dad asked so many questions this week! haha. So I'll start out by answering those! We are going to eat on Christmas at Irma Norma's house and she is awesome! I'm so stoked. She is the bomb and the food is going to be so good! ! We asked her this week if she has a webcam and what not and she said she has two computers with webcams so we're set to go! I don't know really when exactly during the day we will be calling you but we will try to figure that one out!  I'm super stoked to talk to everyone. It's going to be sick!

Tiguarra wasn't at church yesterday because he was visiting his mom, which was a bummer. But he's such a stud. The other missionaries talked with him the other day and they said the lesson went way well! But keep him in your prayers for sure! And yes - the rule now is for all of Brazil that kids 15 and under have to go to church for at least 3 months before they can be baptized, but that's only if they are alone. If their parent is baptized for sure they can be baptized or an older sibling that will be responsible for taking them to church as well! And finally, dad asked if i had received any letters from anyone and nope I haven't received any at all! WOW! I guess Andrew and scott must not have written back thank you cards or something so everyone quit writing the 3rd Holmes boy! haha

And about the family that we're looking for to help with the Christmas money, I haven't picked one yet but still looking. We were thinking about maybe helping out our Nigerians because only one of them has a job right now and they literally don't have like anything! So we will for sure help them out and maybe another family as well!

Well now for the week! This weekend we had Renata's baptism! Oh man it was awesome! So she has always been so firm but her "husband" hasn't been very supportive! We talked to her very frankly about the law of chastity and she promised that she would live it. The only problem is that she was still living with the guy. So Renata moved out and is now living with her dad and the rest of the family! Oh man she is a boss! The bishop talked to her as well just to make sure she fully understands what she has to do and she passed so easily! She's so awesome and she has wanted to become a member of the church so badly! The dad, Divino, and the sister, Grasielle, were also baptised as well! Now the family is complete! This family is so awesome! That was pretty much the highlight of the week! Things are still going way awesome!

Hope all is well at hope and that everyone is doing awesome! Make sure that you keep Christ in your minds throughout this season of Christmas because if you do, you will for sure have a better holiday! I love our Savior and all he has done for us!

Happy Holidays!

PS make sure to sing the Chipmunks Christmas songs extra loud so I can hear them down here in Brazil! Man gotta love that CD!
