Tudo bem em Brasil!

Hi everyone!  Not as many shouts out to give this week, it's looking like! But shouts out to Elise and Andy for the new baby girl! My mom sent me pictures and she's adorable! Congrats on that!

Congrats to mom on the family that you received! Sounds like you will be the help those kids need! Best of luck to you and keep me updated!

This week was a good one for sure! To start out on Tuesday there was the monthly council with the zone leaders and president invited me to go again! I was super stoked and wow it was such an amazing meeting! I love president so much. He is literally incredible and super funny as well! I learned so much stuff that I can apply during the mission and after the mission as well! It was incredible. The spirit in that meeting was crazy strong! We started at 9 and didn't end up leaving until about 6:30. Super awesome and I was so blessed to be able to go! Every one afterward was so stoked too because it was just awesome!

I think I mentioned in my last email about the guy we have been visiting that smokes like crazy. He is so funny! He went to BYU Idaho so he speaks english as well and he is hilarious when he speaks english with me. Anyway he has a huge problem with smoking but he wants like crazy to stop. When we started visiting him he was smoking about 40 per day! But as of now he is only smoking about 15! So he's almost there! Keep him in your prayers though because he needs the help! Yesterday though we went there and made a plan with him how to stop smoking this week and he was super stoked! The other day he gave me some beef jerky, which was sooo good, and said that his dad is coming back from Canada here soon and that he will bring me back some root beer! haha Blessings!!

Yesterday at church Valmira and two of her kids went to church again and loved it! Her son Paulo is super stoked to get baptized! They are marked to be baptized this Saturday so pray that all goes well! She has been intergrated super well into the ward as of now because the president of the relief society lives super close to her and she helps out a ton! This saturday they have an activity that Valmira already commited to last week so she's pretty stoked for that as well!

We found another family as well that seems super awesome. The daughter never was baptized but asks her mom like every day if she can be baptized, and then we showed up! The mom said she wa
s looking for the right church to baptize her in. So this Sunday they will go to church with us and it for sure will be what they're looking for!

Besides that, things are pretty normal! It rained almost everyday here but when we leave the house it's like 100 degrees so I never have an umbrella. Everyone is getting ready for the world cup and no one seems to believe me when I say the U.S. are the favorite to win!  They will win though. I have faith! Still loving my comp. He's a super hard worker for sure!

Hope everyone has a great week! Keep up the good work! I think of you often and know that because of you, I'm here today!

Love you all!!
