Let the PICS tell the Story!

Well after a lot of effort, the photos have been sent, so I hope they get there! I will get better but sometimes the computer just doesnt do the trick!

well shouts out to the engaged this week! Shouts out to both Claire and to Bob! I'll be thinking of you both and sure hope that all goes well. Save some cake from the weddings for me!!

Well this week was a good one filled with a bunch of work as usual! There's just not enough time in the day!! So I sent pictures of Joel's baptism which was super awesome! I was super pumped that he was baptized this week. He is awesome! This week we helped him a lot and focused a lot on the Atonement. On Thursday we planned a family night with a family that lives near him and he and his sister both went! Unfortunately I had to go on a division that day so I planned it but didn't get to present it! But from what I heard, everyone loved it and it helped Joel a ton! Then on Friday we passed by and had a super good lesson with him. He was so happy when he got baptized and just so excited! So in all it was a good day! Joel is super social so he has already been integrated way well into the ward.

So the last few weeks we have been doing family nights with the ward which have been going way well! Keep the ideas coming! They have been going really great! The downfall of it is that I will get even more fat and chubby than I am now! The members always go all out with the dessert afterwards and they just don't let me stop! I keep telling them that I have to get skinnier and they just say that mom will get mad if I'm not being fed enough! But then I told them that at least I'll be able to return! The rate I'm going now, I won't be able to fit on the plane! So yah, the family nights aren't the best on the waistline, but they are awesome in every other way! haha!  Last night we had one at a couple's house who was baptized in December and they are great! They invited some friends as well that don't seem too interested but we will see with them! We also brought Mara and she loved it. She loves the church and yesterday she bore her testimony saying that before we started visiting her she fought a lot with her husband and didn't have patience with her daughter but that now, she says that it has been a while since they have fought and she can see the happiness already! So that was a way cool experience! And the family loved it as well! We talked about the atonement and used the example with the food coloring which worked out way well!

As to answer a few questions by dad: we have 12 missionaries in our zone so it's a smaller zone, but it's a good one! Mom asked about the name of my area which is Parque das Nacões which is in the neighborhood São Jose! Every Tuesday after district meeting in our mission we always have a zone meeting as well, which we prepare every week! So it's good we're with our zone weekly!

Oh btws, I don't know when the next time your friend will be visiting brazil but I'm in need of some new shoes! After this week I think my shoes will be shot, which will leave me with this other pair that I only use on Sunday and to meetings, but they will wear out pretty fast! So if he's headed down here anytime soon, that would be great! And mom said she sent a package but I haven't got it yet. I'll be going to the mission office this week for a zone leader meeting with the Pres, and will check then.  I love our meetings with the president.  They are so awesome!

I hope all is well up there! I love you all! The church is true!

Have an awesome week!
