Christmas is Coming! (with pics)

Hello everybody!! 

I’ll start off with my birthday shoutouts from last week and this! Happy birthday to Aunt Susan, Aunt Marisa and Miguel, as well as Anthony Winters and Charlie Lewis! Phew! I hope you all had a great day! I love and miss you all! 

So this week was a good week but was packed full with things to do! On Thursday we had a meeting with the entire mission at the chapel next to the temple which was super sweet! President Cladio R.M Costa came to speak to us and it was super super awesome! I’ve had the privilege of hearing him speak twice now since I’ve been here in Brazil. He is amazing!  So that day was a good day for sure but took up most of the day seeing as Cipó is far away from everything! But definitely worth the trip of 2 buses and a train! 

Yesterday we had our Christmas meeting with the whole mission! It was super fun to see everyone again! It was planned to have some sports in the morning but they were cancelled last minute which was a bummer. But the meeting was super good. A bunch of elders and sisters sang and played instruments which brought the spirit really strong. There was a transfer as well which got everyone pretty nervous! He announced them in front of everyone but thankfully, I stayed here in Cipó! with my companion! We ate lunch there and everything. They made a good lunch, a good brazilian bbq with brownies and ice cream for dessert so it was a good day!

Things are going really well with our investigators as well! Sueli and Jose are progressing way well! They are so awesome! We are going to do a family night with them tonight to show them how it works which should be fun! 

Douglas is also progressing way well! This week he wanted to make visits with us so he stayed with us almost all day, visiting our investigators which was amazing! He showed a lot of interest as well in serving a mission! He is a stud! Hi mom likes us a lot.  We are also working a lot with Sandra’s daughter and she should get baptized this Saturday! Pray for her, as well!!
