Oi family!
Sounds like everything is awesome there! I really love hearing from everyone!
Things were way awesome this week, though mainly because Rosana, the sister of Renata, was baptized on Saturday! It was awesome. I will try to send you a pic of it! Almost the whole family was there too, all except one of the sisters. It was also cool because through the week Renata worked so much with Rosana, building her testimony and what not! Renata is so converted its crazy and she's not even a member yet! Her husband came to the baptism as well, so hopefully he will open up and decide to get married. Keep them in your prayers for sure! Anyway, that was a super cool experience!
Unfortunately the next day I didn't get to get to our church and Rosana and Thiago were both confirmed yesterday! It was a huge bummer and I was sad a missed it. I went to another zone because Elder Ely, the other zone leader in our house, baptized an investigator there who really wanted him to baptize him. President approved it so he got to go. Unfortunately his companion didn't want to go. So being the nice guy that I am, I told him I would go. It was kind of a bummer but it turned out to be an awesome day! The baptism was so great and literally the entire room was filled with people there to watch, it was ridiculous! I had to stand out in the hall way there were so many people! It was way cool to see. Our youth are super good, even better than the adults, at going to stuff like that so we definitely need to work a little there!
I think Andrew asked last week about a halloween party and I didn't even think they celebrated Halloween, because we didn't plan one, but turns out they do! haha The ward had a huge Halloween party on saturday but we're not allowed to go to them! No time to waste here haha! We can only focus on the work!
Way funny that mom said something about my tie in the photo last week! Sweetest tie ever! You will love my new tie that I scored! It's like croshey, or however you say that haha! Super cool. I sent a photo of me wearing it!
Also yesterday Elder Assis said that every one of our converts was at church! So awesome to hear that everyone was at church and we didn't have to pass by to pick them up! In fact our most recent convert Thiago and one of our investigators that will be baptized this week went with a member to pick up some of our investigators! How cool is that?
