Another Week in Embu!

What is up my family!! Every one sounds so great. Man the emails are awesome. Keep them coming and keep me updated!

I'd like to start off by congratulating dad and Uncle Lee because 4 years ago today Uncle Lee donated his kidney! Wow I  can't believe that it has already been 4 years! Time flies by so fast! I still remember that day like it was yesterday. I want to thank uncle lee for the sacrifice that he made to help out our family. You are and always will be a hero to me. I look up to you so much and strive to be as loving and compassionate as you are. I can't imagine what my life would be like the last 4 years without my dad. All the things I have learned from him and all the things he continues to do for me, and all of it was made possible because of you! I can't express the love and admiration I have for you but only can say thank you! You two are two of the best people I know and will always look up to you! Thank you dad for all you do and I'm so glad that you are still around to teach me and help me along the way. Don't know what i would do without you!! LOVE YOU BOTH! OS CHEFES (that means the bosses in port. btws!)

This week was another long week but seemed to pass by way fast! As for finding new people that want to hear our message we didn't find a lot but we found 3 or four homes of less actives that I want to help return to church. Dad mentioned something about a list they had I don't think we have a list like that maybe we do. I don't know! haha. But we are going to visit them and we found a girl that was baptised that wants to return to church. She has two brothers who live with her that were never baptized so there is potential there! She stopped going because her mom died and then she started working on Sundays,  but she has desire! So it was way cool that we found her! We also found another family that was baptized like 10 years ago but are not active, and they have a girl who is 14 that was never baptized, so are going to help them too! The only problem is they live so far away! We took like an hour hike on this dirt road to find them! It was crazy but we eventually found them!

Something way cool that happened was on Saturday! I wanted to pass by everyone's house and confirm church with them. It was a bummer cause Elder Miranda got sick and had to go back to the house for a little, so most of our day was lost, but we were able to go out to try to salvage the day. The first person we went to visit was a kid we found and grabbed his email and marked to pass by. But when we passed by the address didn't exist. It was frustrating. We said a prayer that we could find people in their homes so that we could get them to church. We started to go down this other road and we saw the number that we had been looking for but it was on a different street! We thought 'what the heck! might as well try it"! When we knocked on the door, this lady answered and it was so weird. It was as though she was waiting for us! She told us to come in without us saying anything, and she had us sit down and then she sat down ready to listen! It was amazing. So asked if kevin live there? She had no idea who that was! haha. So weird, but we taught her and her husband a brief lesson and invited them to church. We didn't have enough time to talk with a member to pass by there and help them to church which  was bummed about. But the next day she showed up to church all ready! Crazy! It was way cool and such a testimony builder of prayer! We are going to continue to teach them so I will let you know where she goes! We had her and another lady and her son yesterday at church so it was a good day!

Hope all is well back there! The church is true and I love representing my Savior every day!
Thanks for all the support!
