OPA! (Wow!)

I'll start off with the birthday shout outs! First shouts out to Bryan Padua yesterday and Auntie mMary today!  Two of my favorite people! I hope both of you have awesome days!! And of course, Happy birthday to the best mom ever on the 7TH!!!!  I for sure didn't forget about that one. Got it marked in my planner and everything! I hope you have a great day and that everyone spoils you! Thank you so much for everything that you have ever done for me. You are incredible. I think of your example often and am blessed to have you as a mom! Keep being amazing! 

It was a good week but man was it hard! Mainly because of the heat! It has been so hot here the last few weeks. oh my gosh! And it hasn't rained for a while! They are saying that it is the hottest summer here in 40 years! Man it is hard for sure! Especially when we have to hike up huge hills just to get to our area! But all is good cause im getting the rays! I'm almost black! It's crazy! 

We went to the mission office this week because there was a meeting for all the new missionionaris being trained, so we went. It was a way good meeting. Our assistants are super awesome these days.  My comp is doing well. He has a girlfriend that definitely sidetracks him a bit. But he's good! I'm thinking I will train again this next transfer which is just next week! Holy cow this transfer blew by so fast!! 

Yesterday that lady I told you about went to church again! She's a boss! haha. She's way funny. A couple days ago we were teaching a lesson and I was talking about the Book of Mormon and Elder Miranda was kinda of zoned out. She reached over and gave him a little slap on the face like ´hey are you paying attention?!´ haha. It was so funny I about lost it! She's progressing even though she's way catholic, but she really has desire. The husband is pretty stubborn, but I'll keep you updated on her for sure!

We've been visiting this guy Ricardo a lot this week. His mom is active but he's been less active for a while now. But he loves the missionaries and knows for sure that the Book of Mormon is true. He's a way cool guy. I like visiting him for sure. He has a lot of desire to return. He told me that the time he had active in the church was for sure the best time of his life. Then why did you leave it!? haha! He's sweet though. I think we are going to his house today because he bakes way well and Elder Miranda wants to learn to bake a cake that he makes! Should be delicious! We're for sure going to continue to visit him and help him come back!

Other than that, the week was pretty normal! Just dying from the heat! Man that's a huge bummer about the Broncos. I was so stoked for them! I would guess that Peyton will take a bunch of crap for it as well! Dang it! Sounds like everything else is going awesome for you guys there! Keep being awesome!! The church is true!
