Happy New Year 2014! What a Week!

Wow so I just wrote a ton and it all got deleted so now I have to do this fast!

This week was so awesome and so much stuff happened it was sweet! Definitley the craziest hardest week every!

So this last week was New Years as every one knows and it looks like you all had an awesome party and everything! New Years here was nuts! We had to be in the house by six because things started to get pretty wild! So we got in the house and Elder Ely and I made some sugar cookies to celebrate of course! Pounded about 10 of them and they were awesome! Things started to get super wild at 10! We tried to sleep but it just wasn't happening! At about 11:50 we got up on the roof to watch the fireworks. Our house has a super good view of everything so it was sweet! And oh my gosh, I cannot describe how crazy it was! There were literally fireworks everywhere coming from everywhere!! Here they don't use as many of the big ones that go up high and make huge colors. They are just little bombs that explode a super bright white! It was insane. We were surrounded with fire works! It was as if we were in a Call of Duty game during world war 3! haha. That that was super sweet and a New Year's that I will never forget!

The next day was way cool too because we left to work at 6 (it was p day) which was way nice. It started to rain so hard that we couldn't even see in front of us! It was so crazy! Elder ely and I didn't have umbrellas so we just got soaked! It was like we jumped into a pool! After that we were already drenched so we just kept working in the rain! Way fun! We went and visited some recent converts and Renata and her family to say good bye which was great. So ya i was transferred! halla! Me, Elder ely and Loredo were all transfered out which was way weird. Only Elder Cole stayed and he recieved 3 new missionaries.

So I got transferred to an area called Embu das Artes and it's the nicest part of our mission. I think it's the only part that is a little outside the city so there is a bunch of trees and what not, it's crazy!!!!!! It's way pretty in this area and a lot richer so the area next to the church and our house especially are really pretty. The first day we ate at a member house and she had chicken with bbq sauce and fries with ranch! Wow was in heaven! (still of course had the beans and rice! ) Anyway, I'm super stoked to be here. It should be way awesome. The only problem is that it's like 20 times the size of Clementino so I'm going to have to do some adjusting for sure! The ward seems awesome and the chapel is way fancy nice!!

So the crazy part is that Elder Ely was transferred as well and we are living in the same house again! haha. It's so sweet! We won't be working the same area, different areas, but the same ward. I was super stoked that that happened! My companion is Elder Miranda and he's from Africa! dope huh! He's from Cape Verde and only has 1 transfer in the mission so I'll be training him as well! He's a great kid, just a little shy, so looks like my language will improve quite a bit! I was also called as a district leader, which was pretty dope! The only problem with this area is it's kinda of dead so this week will be a lot of finding new people to teach! Let'ssss goooo!!!

I was going to write more but the computer deleted my email and now im running out of time, so I'll update everyone more next week for sure! Just know that my hood isn't really a hood anymore!!!!

love you all!!
