Hello Hello!! 

Starting out by today giving a shouts out to Bob on the 25th and to cousin Megs on the 29th! I hope you both have great days! Happy birthday!

So as you all know with the world cup, things have been getting pretty crazy! We stayed in the house last Tuesday after lunch and again yesterday because of the Brazil games. We only have to stay in when Brazil plays. When they played against Mexico, I knew they didnt win because one of our neighbors got really mad and threw a rock at the house above ours. haha! So I’m scared to see what will happen there in the streets if Brazil loses! Let’s hope they go all the way! And, of course, the shouts out to my US team for doing work! Such a bummer with the draw! I saw the score as we were getting home and the US had it in the bag! Bummer that they couldn’t get the win but hey they are still in it! Shame on the family who had no faith we would move on! I’m here to say I never lost the faith! 

We had a good turnout at church on Sunday. We had 8 people there at church and everyone liked it a lot! Solande was there again and her sister and son as well went. She is way awesome and is already inviting other people to go this next Sunday with her, which is so great. So we are getting some references from her! She’s the best! And her sister is way awesome, as well, and has recieved a ton of answers to her prayers. So they are progressing way well. Unfortunately Alex Sandra and her daughter Larise didn’t go to church because her brother in law suffered a car accident and went into a coma. So she had to leave town to Campinas to be with the family. But she is still strong and wanting to go to church. Ricardo and Aline were there again as always! They are so great. Ricardo says his mom will go to the city hall place again today to get a copy of his birth certificate, and if not, he will track it down somehow on the internet. He’s super determined and already 100 percent converted so now we just wait. Way annoying but what can you do? We also had another family there. A mom and her 2 daughters. The dad worked late and ended up not going to church but according to the mom, he has desire. We haven’t found them home since Sunday but for sure we’ll work with them. I’m pretty sure they aren’t married!

It’s a big bummer that Brazil will play on Saturday, like the most crucial day of the week to confirm for church, so I don’t quite know what we will do! But things are going way well! Sorry I don’t have a ton of time to write but I love you all and know that during the games, I am safe studying my scriptures! haha The church is true and I love bearing my testimony of it everyday!
